Pep said: “Yeah, ita��s good. I bought an apartment because I have to live somewhere, and Ia��m happy to live in the city.

“It happened the same when I was a player at Roma, at Brescia, and in Munich. I prefer to live in the city and be with the people.

“My commitment was the same last season, when we didna��t win. It looks like a higher commitment because we are winning, but the commitment last season was the same.

Meanwhile, City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain has been in San SebastianA�amid reports they will move for Real Sociedad’s Inigo Martinez.

The centre half – who can also play at left-back – has a release clause of around A?28 million in his contract.

City had held some talks with Southampton over Virgil van Dijk but were not willing to meet the A?75million asking price.
